After our trip to Rudy's Ranch we decided to take
another trip! Everyone met at Midwest Trail
Ride in Norman, Indiana the second weekend of August. We had a great weekend!
The weather was nice, the trails were dry and well taken care of. I'm sure we'll do it
again, but I hope not to soon! That was too much work!
On Saturday there were over 30 riders take off at one
time! We all rode to the Church, where Dan & Barb renewed their wedding
vows! This weekend marked their 25th Anniversary! Congratulations!
We had a wonderful lunch at the Church Picnic Area, some wine & cheese,
sandwiches, and lots of cold drinks! Happy to say we all made it back safe
& sound! I didn't take many pictures this trip. It was kind of
hard when we had riders spread out over 1 mile on the trail! I managed to
snap a few good ones, and even some we can't show here!!
Shilo Farms would like to say a special thanks to EVERYONE
for such a great time! It took a lot of work getting everyone together and
planning all this great trip ~ Thanks for inviting us! We got to spend
time with some old friends, make some new friends, and ate way to much great
food! Camping with horses is a lot of work, but it sure is fun!
