DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

**For everyone who loves MapQuest  Please Read**

90% of people who try to use MapQuest to find our farm get lost!

We live out in the country!  We're probably about 15 or 20 miles from town.  The street signs are small!!  Heck, you might even find a dog sleeping in the middle of the road and the occasional chicken!  MapQuest gives good directions from the larger cities, but please use the directions below when you get closer to the farm.  A lot of the street names that MapQuest will give you are not marked out here with the names, but numbers or vise versa.  It's very easy to get lost, and almost everyone does when they've used MapQuest.  Not to mention, occasionally you won't get a cell phone signal.  (The "can you hear me now" guy has never been here!!!!)    So may I suggest, read and print out these directions from our website.  Don't get me wrong, MapQuest is a great website, but they don't know how to tell people to get here!  Usually, they send people about 5 miles out of the way.  So, just a warning!!  Use it if you must, but be ready!  I highly recommend you print these directions.

From Madison:

bulletTake 421 North out of Madison.
bulletFollow 421 until you see a cemetery called Grandview.  Directly after the graveyard, there is a road, Thorton.
bulletTurn right onto Thorton Road.  Follow this road about 3 miles or so.  Please note, you will go down a curvy hill, and back up a curvy hill.  Keep going!
bulletJefferson Road is on the left.  (I believe it's the second road on the left, but the only paved road on the left)  There is a cross at the intersection for the Jefferson Church.
bulletTurn left onto Jefferson Road.  Again, the road will twist and turn.  We are located on the right hand side of the road.  You'll see the sign, dogs all over the place, horses too!

From Cincinnati:

bullet Get off I-275 at Lawrenceburg exit (U.S. 50)
bullet Take 50 west to Versailles, Indiana
bullet Turn Left on Route 421 South.  Stay on 421 South for approximately 10 miles
bullet You will see a very small sign for the town of Rexville, and shortly after that make a left turn on county road 925.  (There are 2 silver silos there.)
bullet Stay on 925 for about 1 mile until you come to county road 350. (first black top road)
bullet Turn right onto 350   Stay on 350 as it twists and turns thru rural Indiana for about 3 miles.  You will see a small sign on the left that says "County Line".  350 turns into Jefferson road (275) at this point-Keep going straight
bullet Shilo Farms is located on the left hand side (East) of the road.   Look for a large red and gray barn, horse trailers, horses, and a sign out front.

bullet Continue past the main entrance to Jefferson Proving Grounds, you will go past the intersection of route 250.  Then you'll come to a cemetery on your right hand side
bulletTurn Right on Thornton Road.  (first road on the road on the right  past the cemetery)
