I think this is one of the hardest things any of us had to do.  On July 4, 2003 we had to put Tex down.  After months of fighting his battle with Wobblers, we just couldn't do anymore for him.  The surgery he had in January, was only a temporary cure.  The last month was hard on the guy, but he never flinched!   He had his good days, and his bad ones too.  His poor little body just couldn't keep up with his enormous will to live.  I know these words can't even do Tex justice, but we'll never forget the big grey guy!  I'll always remember the day Susan and I picked him up from the airport, he was so cute!  There are hundreds of other stories to tell about him, like the time he ate a flaming red hot hamburger at Henryville, watching him drag DOG around the yard, or how he loved car rides!  He even tried being a herding dog, he was just a little to big for it!  It was really funny to watching learn how to run with those oversized feet of his!  We've got more pictures of this dog than most people have of their first born child!  I'll get together some of the cutest ones, and be putting them on this page.

God Bless you Tex!  We all will miss you, and we love you.
