At Shilo Farms we offer a very different approach to training your horse. We train your horse where he/she still approaches you with the same love and respect that you want out of your equine partner, along with giving you the great ride you expect and deserve. Our specialty is creating a great trail horse that you can enjoy! No matter if it's raining, snowing, cold, hot & muggy we ride 'em! We like to meet with horse owners before taking in horse to understand their goals and expectations. We also do "Tune Ups" for those horses who have forgotten a few things! We take pride in our horse care! If you've ever been in our barn, it's impeccable. Everything in it's place, and floors are clean. Each horse is kept in a clean, dry stall with top quality hay and fresh water available at all times. We have our own feed made at a local Feed Mill to insure premium ingredients with no additives. Stalls are cleaned at least two times daily during which the horse has an opportunity for turn out. All of the horses in training are kept separate during turn out to avoid conflicts of different temperaments.
