"NuCents"

2 Year Old Warm blood Cross.  He's not done growing yet!

We've been riding NuCents for the past year..  We've even used him on a few rental rides!  He's a calm, easy going, friendly horse!  He's becoming a true trail horse! We took him to Henryville on 6/5/04 (see below for a link!) He did great!  That was his first big adventure at a park for trail riding.  He did great!  (I may just have to keep this on around for myself!)

    He's doing great!  Figure since he's going to carry my butt around for awhile, he better learn to carry all my stuff!  Like the kitchen sink, all my food & candy, camera,  all the important stuff!!  He wasn't so sure at first, a few small bucks.  But nothing major.  He thought mud puddles were a bottomless pit that no horse should walk thru!  After this ride, he has come around to a better way of thinking! 

    Last weekend, we took NuCents for his first big long ride!  Our good buddy, Jack rode him about 20 miles!  He did great!  He even talked Jack into borrowing his hat! 

 

He's been trail riding!  So far so good!  Kind of stubborn, but he'll learn!  He's quite and doesn't seem to be spooky!

 

Gee, does the name fit this one!  He's been riding great, and I just love his personality!  He's a keeper, think we're going to turn this one out with our horses!

    What a character this one is!  Of course he's ours, a Winter Project!  Our good friend Katie raised this big baby, and did a fine job too!  His real name is Dakota.  But that didn't last long.  This guy is a riot!  We've spent more time chasing this horse, than we care to mention.  He unties himself constantly,  jumped a fence just for fun!  You got to love good humor!  We've since changed his name to "Nuisance"  (And it fits him too!)  He's a lot of fun!

    The one thing this horse does have, is integrity.  He total amazed us in the round pen.  He's athletic, attentive, patient, and very intelligent.  Above are pictures from one of his first rides.  He's got shoes too, so he'll be hitting the trails soon!  More to come......
