Private cabin situated on about 20 acres of woods!  There is a double bed and a small loft with a double size mattress.  Ideal for quite evenings next to a campfire with a bag of marshmallows!  There is a fire pit made from creek rock, picnic table and a grill.  Pet friendly!  Even has a small kennel to keep the four legged faimly member!

What you will need to bring bedding and pillows.  Food, drinks and any sort of cookware you may need.  There is a grill at the site for cooking.  Extra coolers available.  Even have a percolated coffee maker if you want to really some extra pep in the morning!!  Makes great coffee, but has quite a kick!!  We do have extra sheets and blankets if something is forgotten at home!  We will provide plenty of ice to keep your coolers nice and cold at no extra charge.

You will have access to hundreds of acres of woods all to yourself!  Plenty of room to explore!  Hiking trails - bring your compass.  There is a really cool creek on the back side of the property!  There is even a large pool of water, great for wading in! Untouched woods just waiting for you to explore!  There will be a hiking trail from the cabin to a picnic area a short hike away.  Waterfalls, hills, you name it!  Great blackberry briars in the hot summer months!  Mushroom hunting in the spring!

Really, you are in the middle of the woods, no one around!  Total privacy!

If you have 4-wheelers, bring them out!  There are some great old gravel county roads around here, you can ride for miles (as long as you have highway tags)!  Even can give you directions to some neat places tucked away and almost forgotten with time.

There is even a deer blind on the property.  Ideal for hunting in the fall!!  Call for advanced reservations.

Our goal here, is to make everyone feel at home.  If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask!  A trail rider told me the other day, he felt our place was more like going to a friend's house rather than just a Saddle Barn.  That's how we like it!  If you decide to head to Madison for dinner, and would like to have a few adult beverages, we can even give you a  ride back!  Safety is the key!!

Please keep in mind, this is a primitive camp site.  Generator can be provide to run a heater or fans when needed.  However that does detract from the quite natural environment.  Oil lamps and Coleman lantern also provided.  If there is something you have forgotten, I'm sure we can make arrangements!  We're in the process of completing the shower house, but have showers available. And  there is a clean portalete on site.  (clean and well maintained- not one of the nasty kinds, I promise!!)

Also, there are a few great sites where you could pitch a tent and rough it!!  If you are interested in primitive camping or have extra people!

Click on any of the pictures below to open them in a new window.  These are just a few shots of the cabin and surrounding woods.  Also, one of the our dogs, the "Wooz".  Our resident tour guide, and campsite director!  Always around to make sure no hot dog goes wasted!
